REAL Film & TV is a New York-based film and television development studio dedicated to creating a slate of distinctive, character-driven stories that are deeply rooted in New York City, its five boroughs, and the surrounding region.

We believe New York is more than a backdrop, it is a character in its own right. Its neighborhoods, history, diversity, and energy provide an unmatched canvas for stories that feel authentic, cinematic, and emotionally resonant.

Our development strategy is built around original intellectual property that showcases compelling characters, strong commercial appeal, and a genuine sense of place. From intimate dramas and dark comedies to elevated thrillers and prestige television, every project is designed to reflect the complexity and humanity of the people who inhabit this extraordinary city.

REAL Film & TV is committed to developing and producing projects within New York’s world-class creative ecosystem, drawing on the region’s exceptional writers, directors, actors, production crews, studios, and iconic locations. By keeping development and production rooted locally, we aim to deliver premium entertainment while contributing to one of the world’s most vibrant filmmaking communities.

Our vision is to build a lasting library of original film and television properties that celebrate New York’s unique voice and connect with audiences around the world.
